Kyisha Brooks is the passionate visionary and CEO of aCareer Bartender, and this business was born from her personal career journey.
Ms. Brooks enjoys her career as an HR Sr. Compensation Analyst for a Fortune 500 company. This corporate position is a great fit, but the road to get there was winding and her background made it unlikely that she would be in this post. After earning a BA in Political Science with a Minor in Finance and a Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy as well as an Masters in Public Administration, Kyisha worked at a series of different positions before finding the perfect fit. Along the way, she grew and maintained a professional network, and collected treasured experiences. Looking back, she found that it was the culmination of her experiences and her skills that led her to this point. She realized that had she been more intentional in actually mixing her personality and interests rather than compartmentalizing her career skills, she would have found this fit much earlier.
This is the experience that aCareer Bartender brings to the clients - mixing the seemingly discrete parts of a person in order to create their signature blend.
